As we close this monumental year - our 25th Anniversary - I find myself filled with such emotion. A quarter-century ago, our commitment to providing rescue, rehabilitation, and refuge for horses in need began. To have reached this incredible milestone is a testament to the enduring power of compassion, and for that, my gratitude is immeasurable.
This work is not done by one person, but by a tireless, dedicated team. To our incredible volunteers: you are the hands, hearts, and hours that make everything possible. You feed, groom, clean, train, and love these horses every single day, turning fear
into trust and neglect into devotion. Thank you for your selfless giving.
To our generous donors and sponsors: you are the bedrock of CCHR. Your financial kindness covers the critical feed, medical bills, and facility maintenance that transform a desperate rescue case into a beautiful success story. You provide the safety net that ensures we can uphold our lifetime promise to every horse we save.
To the CCHR board of directors: thank you for your governance, strategic vision, and fiduciary oversight that enable CCHR to operate with ethics and integrity and plan confidently for the future.
We must also recognize the professionals whose unwavering commitment keeps our horses healthy: our skilled veterinarian, Dr. Charles Liskey, and our dedicated farrier, Jimmy Dunlap. Their expertise, often offered at a moment's notice, is crucial to the successful physical rehabilitation of our herd.
And finally, thank you to all our friends and rescue ambassadors for spreading the word about our work and horses. Your passion for CCHR turns every conversation and social media share into an opportunity for a rescue horse to find a new champion. Your advocacy multiplies our reach and our impact exponentially.
As we move forward into the next 25 years, our mission remains strong: rescue, rehabilitation, and refuge for horses in need. We are energized by the prospect of building on our legacy, expanding our capacity, and continuing to stand by every horse that needs a safe harbor. Thank you for making our past incredible and our future possible!
