WHAT WE DO
The Mission of CCHR is to rescue abandoned, abused, neglected and slaughter-bound horses and to provide them with a second chance at healthy and productive lives. CCHR provides shelter, food, veterinary care, farrier services, rehabilitation, and adoption services for the horses in its care.
PROGRAMS & SERVICES
At CCHR, we offer a range of programs and services that are aimed at rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses that have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or are at risk of being sent to slaughter. Our services include shelter, food, veterinary care, farrier services, and rehabilitation. We also provide adoption services for horses who are ready to find their new person or family.
Rescue
At CCHR, we are committed to rescuing horses that have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or are at risk of being sent to slaughter. Our team of volunteers and rehabilitators works tirelessly to provide the horses with the care they need to regain their health and well-being.
Rehabilitation
At CCHR, we believe that every horse deserves a second chance at a healthy and productive life. That's why we offer rehabilitation services that are aimed at helping horses recover from their injuries, illnesses, or traumas. At CCHR, we work hard to find loving and caring homes for the horses that are ready to start their new lives. Our adoption process is designed to ensure that the horses are placed in safe and suitable environments where they can thrive and be happy.
Refuge
The horses that are rescued by CCHR come to heal at the Rescue ranch. They will live there until they find the perfect person or family to share their life with or they will live out the rest of their lives at the ranch.
Education
At CCHR, we believe that education is key to preventing horse abuse and neglect. That's why we offer educational programs that are aimed at raising awareness about horse welfare and promoting responsible horse ownership. We also believe that we must always work with the goal of creating the next generation of people who will stand strong in support of horses.
