 What happens when a group of gals on the run cross paths with Shakespeare's "King Lear"?
We don't know, but we are all going to find out at CCHR on Saturday, September 12th! Join us for an evening of theatre as we welcome the wonderful Equine Dell'Arte company for a full cast reading of the world premiere play "The Gilded Lilies". Enjoy an evening at the CCHR ranch, meet the CCHR horses, have fun at the silent auction and be the first to see "The Gilded Lilies". All proceeds from the evening will go towards the care of the horses who find refuge through California Coastal Horse Rescue. For more information on the event, please click here. After a very long wait, the arena at CCHR is now finished! Due to the very kind generosity of Brett Jones, owner of Wayne J Sand and Gravel, and John Marshall, the horses have received a wonderful gift of sand and the funding for the transport and delivery of the sand.
What does this amazing gift mean to the horses? It means they have a new large and level area where they can be safely worked with and ridden during their rehabilitation. Additionally, what a lovely and safe place for our potential adopters to have available to them as they get to know and initially bond with a CCHR horse. We are so moved by the tremendous kindness and generosity of this gift! |
